Charles Schwab Field, Omaha

The College World Series, done right in Omaha

Eight teams, a double-elimination bracket, and eleven days of college baseball at its loudest, all inside a downtown Omaha that turns into a baseball town for two weeks every June.

The Men's College World Series runs June 17 to 28, 2027 at Charles Schwab Field in downtown Omaha, with the eight teams that survive the regionals and super regionals playing down to a best-of-three championship series. It is one of the few college championships that stays in the same city year after year, which means the hotel, the walk to the ballpark, and the downtown scene around it are all known quantities. What is not known this far out is which teams will be playing on which days, so a package built around the bracket, not a specific matchup, is the way most fans book this trip. Our packages run from a single opening-round weekend up to the full eleven nights, all built around the Cambria Omaha Downtown a couple of blocks from the stadium.

The trip

Day by day

Day 1 Arrival in Omaha

Airport shuttle to the Cambria Omaha Downtown, a couple of blocks from Charles Schwab Field. Settle in, then walk the downtown blocks around the ballpark before the bracket gets underway.

Opening rounds Double elimination, two games a day

The eight-team field plays through pool-style double elimination games, most days carrying an afternoon and an evening matchup at Charles Schwab Field. Fan Fest runs alongside the games with its own activities and pep rallies.

Included: Breakfast daily at the hotel

In between Omaha off the clock

Between games, downtown Omaha's restaurants, breweries, and bars around the ballpark fill in the hours. Extra nights and side trips can be added onto any package.

The Finals Championship series

The bracket narrows to two teams for a best-of-three championship series to close out the tournament, with the same reserved lower level seating carried through to the final games.

What the ticket is

Seating and access

Reserved Lower Level

Included

Every package includes reserved lower level seating down the line at Charles Schwab Field, the standard ticket for College World Series travel packages.

Between-the-Bases Upgrade

Add-on

A closer, more central seating upgrade is available per game as an add-on, for guests who want to sit nearer home plate than the standard reserved ticket allows.

Multi-game access

By package

The opening round packages cover either four or all six opening games, and the championship package covers the finals. The full tournament package is the only one that carries a ticket across the entire bracket.

The honest part

Bracket reality

Booking early rounds means booking before you know which eight teams made the field. You are buying seats at Charles Schwab Field for the games in your package, not a guaranteed matchup, and that is true of every CWS package on the market.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Which round should I book?

It depends on what you want out of the trip. The opening round packages get you the most raw baseball and the lowest price per night, the championship package gets you the two best teams left standing, and the full tournament package is for fans who want to see the whole bracket play out. A quick consultation usually sorts this out fast.

Do you know which teams will be playing?

Not this far out. The eight-team field is set by the regionals and super regionals that finish shortly before the tournament starts, so opening round packages are booked before the matchups are known. You are securing your hotel and seats at Charles Schwab Field for those dates, not a specific team.

What seating do these packages include?

Reserved lower level seating down the line at Charles Schwab Field on every package. A between-the-bases upgrade is available per game if you want to sit closer to home plate.

How far is the hotel from the ballpark?

The Cambria Omaha Downtown is a couple of blocks from Charles Schwab Field, close enough to walk to every game and back downtown for meals in between.

When do I need to pay?

A deposit books your spot. Fifty percent of the remaining balance is due January 8, 2027, and the final payment is due April 7, 2027, the same schedule across every package.

What if I want more than a standard package?

Ticket upgrades, tailgate add-ons, extra nights, and private group blocks for larger parties are all available. Tell us what you're after and we will price it against your dates.

Booking and logistics

How does payment and the deposit work?

You reserve your package with a per-person deposit and pay the balance on a set schedule, with final payment typically due 60 days before departure. Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, so we recommend travel insurance to protect what you pay. Your booking is transacted by a licensed tour operator whose full written terms govern your trip, and no payment is taken through this website. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page.

Can you plan a trip for one person or a couple?

Yes. Package prices are quoted per person and depend on how many people share a room, so solo travelers and couples are quoted accordingly. Tell us your group and we will price it honestly.

Can you handle a large group?

Yes. We handle private groups, typically parties of eight or more, with dedicated coordination for the tickets, hotel, and logistics so everyone travels together smoothly.

Is Sports Travel Zone a legitimate, licensed agency?

Yes. We are a registered seller of travel, California CST 2155818-70 and Florida ST43282, a service of Early and Away Travel, LLC. Your booking is fulfilled by a licensed tour operator, and we earn a commission when you book.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and event tickets and hotel-only reservations are final once booked. If you cancel, any amount already paid cannot be refunded, which is why we strongly recommend travel insurance. If an event is postponed or cancelled, you receive updated tickets or a credit only to the extent the ticket or hotel vendor refunds the operator. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page and are provided to you in writing before you book.
