Phoenix Open Travel Packages: TPC Scottsdale, February 2027

The loudest week in golf lands at TPC Scottsdale, and the 16th hole alone is worth the trip.

Locals call it The People's Open for a reason: nowhere else in golf do 20,000 fans pack a single par 3 and roar like it's a football stadium. Tournament week runs February 8 to 14, 2027, and every day plays differently, Thursday and Friday for the purists who want to walk the course and get close to the leaderboard, Saturday and Sunday for the full stadium-hole chaos on moving day and the final round. We build each package around the Hilton Scottsdale Resort, a short walk from the gates, so you're not fighting traffic or rideshare surge pricing to get to your tee time or your seat. Tell us which day matters most to you and we'll set the rest of the trip around it.

At a glance

  • Walk to TPC Scottsdale from the Hilton Scottsdale Resort, no shuttle-line gamble on tournament mornings
  • Pick your day: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday grounds admission, priced separately so you're not paying for a week you won't use
  • The 16th hole stadium, the loudest single hole in professional golf, with standing-room and hospitality options
  • Private roundtrip airport shuttle from Phoenix Sky Harbor built into every package
  • Upgrade to 18th Fairway hospitality or a 16th Hole Skybox suite for food, an open bar, and a seat above the noise
  • February in Scottsdale means desert sun and 70-degree afternoons while most of the country is buried in winter
  • A fixed deposit and payment schedule, so you know exactly what's due and when, months before you fly

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Which tournament day should I book?

Thursday and Friday are lower-key and easier to move around in if you want to walk the whole course and follow groups closely. Saturday and Sunday carry bigger crowds and higher energy at the 16th hole, especially Saturday, known as moving day. Tell us what you want out of the trip and we'll steer you toward the right day.

What is the 16th hole and why is it famous?

It's an enclosed, stadium-style par 3 that seats roughly 20,000 fans right on top of the tee box and green. Players get cheered like athletes at a football game, and a hole-in-one can shake the whole grandstand. It's the signature moment of Phoenix Open week.

What's the deposit and payment schedule?

Every package requires a $400 per person deposit to book. Fifty percent of the remaining balance is due September 18, 2026, and the final payment is due November 20, 2026.

Is airfare included?

No. Packages include the hotel, grounds pass, and airport shuttle in Phoenix, but flights to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor are booked separately.

Can I upgrade to hospitality after booking?

Yes, in most cases. 16th Hole Skybox and 18th Fairway Greenskeeper upgrades can be added to your package, though weekend hospitality tends to sell out first, so we recommend deciding early.

Do you offer single or double occupancy instead of quad?

Yes. Pricing above reflects four guests sharing a suite, which is the most common setup for groups of friends. Single, double, and triple occupancy are all available at different per-person rates, ask us for a quote based on your group size.

Booking and logistics

How does payment and the deposit work?

You reserve your package with a per-person deposit and pay the balance on a set schedule, with final payment typically due 60 days before departure. Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, so we recommend travel insurance to protect what you pay. Your booking is transacted by a licensed tour operator whose full written terms govern your trip, and no payment is taken through this website. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page.

Can you plan a trip for one person or a couple?

Yes. Package prices are quoted per person and depend on how many people share a room, so solo travelers and couples are quoted accordingly. Tell us your group and we will price it honestly.

Can you handle a large group?

Yes. We handle private groups, typically parties of eight or more, with dedicated coordination for the tickets, hotel, and logistics so everyone travels together smoothly.

Is Sports Travel Zone a legitimate, licensed agency?

Yes. We are a registered seller of travel, California CST 2155818-70 and Florida ST43282, a service of Early and Away Travel, LLC. Your booking is fulfilled by a licensed tour operator, and we earn a commission when you book.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and event tickets and hotel-only reservations are final once booked. If you cancel, any amount already paid cannot be refunded, which is why we strongly recommend travel insurance. If an event is postponed or cancelled, you receive updated tickets or a credit only to the extent the ticket or hotel vendor refunds the operator. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page and are provided to you in writing before you book.
