Why does the hotel package put us in Santa Cruz instead of on the Monterey Peninsula?
Pebble Beach itself has very limited hotel inventory, and what exists sells out or prices itself out of reach the moment U.S. Open dates are announced. Santa Cruz, about an hour up the coast, is where the reliable room blocks are, which is why our packages build in scheduled transportation rather than leaving you to find your own way in each day.
Can we stay closer to the course if we are willing to pay more?
Sometimes, depending on what opens up closer to the Peninsula as the tournament approaches. Ask us about the Premium and Private Group option and we will check current availability and price it against the standard package.
What is the difference between the two-day packages and the All Four Rounds package?
The Thursday and Friday, Friday and Saturday, and Saturday and Sunday packages each cover three hotel nights and grounds tickets for two consecutive tournament days. All Four Rounds covers five nights and a grounds ticket for every day of the championship, Thursday through Sunday.
Are the listed prices per person for a shared room?
Yes. The prices shown assume four guests sharing one room. Single, double, and triple occupancy are available at a higher per-person rate. Ask us for the exact difference when you book.
How does the deposit and payment schedule work?
A deposit reserves your spot at booking, then 50 percent of the remaining balance is due November 18, 2026, with the final payment due April 1, 2027. Deposits are $400 per person on the three-night packages and $750 per person on the five-night All Four Rounds package.
What is Pebble Beach like to walk in June?
Expect cool mornings, marine fog that usually burns off by midday, and steady coastal wind, especially along the closing holes by Carmel Bay. Layers are worth packing even though it is June.
Booking and logistics
How does payment and the deposit work?
You reserve your package with a per-person deposit and pay the balance on a set schedule, with final payment typically due 60 days before departure. Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, so we recommend travel insurance to protect what you pay. Can you plan a trip for one person or a couple?
Yes. Package prices are quoted per person and depend on how many people share a room, so solo travelers and couples are quoted accordingly. Tell us your group and we will price it honestly.
Can you handle a large group?
Yes. We handle private groups, typically parties of eight or more, with dedicated coordination for the tickets, hotel, and logistics so everyone travels together smoothly.
Is Sports Travel Zone a legitimate, licensed agency?
Yes. We are a registered seller of travel, California CST 2155818-70 and Florida ST43282, a service of Early and Away Travel, LLC. Your booking is fulfilled by a licensed tour operator, and we earn a commission when you book.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and event tickets and hotel-only reservations are final once booked. If you cancel, any amount already paid cannot be refunded, which is why we strongly recommend travel insurance. If an event is postponed or cancelled, you receive updated tickets or a credit only to the extent the ticket or hotel vendor refunds the operator.
